What we collect
- Your name, email, and avatar from Google when you sign in
- Billing information handled by Stripe (we store your Stripe customer ID and plan, not your card details)
- The YouTube videos and channels you submit — URLs, titles, descriptions, transcripts, chapters, and thumbnails
- The AEO scores, rewrite suggestions, citation check results, and channel audit reports we generate from that video data
- Basic usage counts (videos scored, rewrites generated, citation checks run) so we can enforce plan limits
How we use it
We use your data to score videos, generate rewrites, check AI citations, run channel audits, and manage your subscription. Video titles, descriptions, and transcript excerpts are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate rewrites and citation checks, and to the YouTube Data API to fetch public video metadata. We don't sell your data.
Who we share it with
We use Supabase to store your account and data, Stripe to process payments, Anthropic to generate rewrites and citation checks, Google's YouTube Data API to fetch public video metadata, and Vercel to host the app. Each of these providers only receives what they need to do their part.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data or delete your account at any time.
- Data export: email vidaeosupport@gmail.com and we'll send you a CSV of your data.
- Account deletion: go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This cancels your subscription and permanently deletes your account, video scores, rewrites, citation checks, and channel audits. This cannot be undone.
